§ Mr. Wyn Roberts[holding answer 28 October 1988]: The number of pupils under five years of age in nursery and primary schools and those in designated bilingual primary schools in English-speaking areas are given in the following tables. The numbers of pupils attending Welsh-only nursery and primary schools and bilingual schools in mainly Welsh-speaking areas cannot be separately identified.
