To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement concerning the current policy of the London Dockland Development Corporation in respect of land south of the Royal Victoria dock.

Mr. Trippier

The LDDC has decided to proceed with development plans for the Royal Victoria dock (southside) based on an urban design framework prepared by the corporation. Individual sites will be put out to tender next year to a wide range of developers.
