§ Mrs. CurrieNo external expert advice was received before the decision was taken to contribute to the funds of the cyclotron trust. My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister has since received correspondence from the chairman of the United Kingdom co-ordinating committee on cancer research, and my right hon. Friend the then 641W Secretary of State for Social Services received comments from the chairman of that committee's collaborative group for head and neck cancer.
