§ Mr. HardyTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make it his policy to increase the number and scale of dietary studies conducted in the United Kingdom; and what assessment he has made as to whether the extrapolations developed from such studies are accurate.
§ Mr. RyderI shall continue to commission such studies as are required to monitor the safety and nutritional quality of diets in the United Kingdom. Advice on the need for, and the scale of, such surveys and on their interpretation is taken from a number of independent expert committees.
