To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what leave is granted to women army officers during pregnancy.

Mr. Freeman

All women serving in the Army are compulsorily retired on pregnancy normally during the fourth month and are entitled to terminal leave on full pay of up to a maximum of four weeks.
