§ Mr. MajorComprehensive information on the geographical distribution of overseas assets is not available. Data on direct investment relating to the end of 1984 may be found inBritish Business of 22 May 1987. Estimates of direct investment flows overseas to end of 1986 were published in British Business of 11 March 1988. The latest issue of the Bank of England Quarterly Bulletin contains information on the United Kingdom monetary sector's assets overseas as at the end of 1987.
