§ Mr. Waldegrave[pursuant to his answer, 5 May 1988, column 567]: The order made on 3 May (1988 No. 820), introducing the new grant-eligible expenditure limits for repairs under the housing defects legislation, contained certain errors. My right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for the Environment and for Wales have therefore made a second order (1988 No. 923) which ensures that the correct limits come into force, as intended, on Tuesday 31 May 1988. My officials are dealing with this in their letter to local authorities, home owners' groups and repairers.
