To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science why the leaflet entitled "Shouldn't You Become a School Governor?" is being circulated in Scotland by his Department and by the Central Office of Information; and if he will indicate the cost of providing copies of this leaflet in Scotland.

The Department has made no arrangements for the distribution of this leaflet in Scotland, since the provisions to which it relates apply only to England and Wales.
