To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on security in Northern Ireland, with special reference to Mid-Ulster.

Since the beginning of this year, two people have been killed in Mid-Ulster as a result of terrorist activity. Both were members of the security forces; Private Gibson a part-time member of UDR and Gunner Morgan from 19th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, who were murdered by the Provisional IRA in separate incidents on 26 April.
