To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many(a) housing starts and (b) housing completions were made in each of the housing authorities of Gwynedd and Clwyd in 1979 and for the most recent year for which figures are available; how many houses in Gwynedd and in Clwyd are estimated to be (i) in urgent

In addition, there were 56 authorised pay beds in National Health Service hospitals (including two for emergency use only) as at 31 December 1986 and 1987.
