§ Mr. Douglas HoggI understand that a phased programme to install tape recording facilities at police stations throughout the whole area served by the Hampshire constabulary is well under way. Work to equip interview rooms at police stations in Newport and Shanklin on the Isle of Wight has already begun, and work will start shortly at Ryde and Cowes.
