To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if there are any plans to recognise the Democratic People's Republic of Korea; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. Mellor
We have no plans to recognise North Korea.

§ Mr. Parry
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on current relations with North Korea.

§ Mr. Mellor
We do not recognise North Korea as a state and have no diplomatic relations with any authorities there.
