§ Mr. DunnMy right hon. Friend has received representations from the Durham local education authority about the level of its education prescribed expenditure allocations for 1987–88 and 1988–89. The criteria used for determining those allocations are designed to ensure that all LEAs receive fair and equitable treatment and that none should find itself unable to fulfil its statutory obligations.
