§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe Department's policy is to answer communications written in languages other than English in the same language, when practicable. Where there are time constraints, a reply in English is given. At the driver and vehicle licensing centre in Swansea, letters written in the Welsh language are answered in the same medium.
