To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he has any plans to issue a circular to local authorities in Wales on the implications of the outcome of Newport's scheme to provide cheap television licences to pensioners.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will circularise to all Welsh local authorities information advising them of the rules by which certain accommodation for elderly people can be adapted so that they can benefit from concessionary television licences.
