§ Mr. Donald Thompson[holding answer 19 May 1988]: Research work on the development of a reliable vaccine for use in badgers has been carried out at the Middlesex hospital. Proposals for field trials to determine the efficacy of the vaccine and a suitable method of administration are under active and careful consideration.
