Figures cover members of the Development Assistance Committee of the OECD. No details are available for other OECD countries. The figures reflect bilateral aid. The United Kingdom share of multilateral (mainly European Community) aid in 1985 was of the order of $4 million. Statistics are not available which would show the amounts other Development Assistance Committee donor countries provided to Nicaragua through multilateral channels; nor is the United Kingdom figure for 1986 yet available.
