§ Mr. MartlewTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many applications have been received from farmers in England other than Cumbria claiming to have suffered losses as a result of the Chernobyl disaster but who had not been compensated under the Government's scheme; when those applications were received and when considered; how many were rejected; and if he will make a statement on the general pattern of the defects in the applications which led to their rejection.
