§ Mr. Cohen
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence on what dates he expects to place orders for Vanguard submarines SSBN07 and SSBN08.

§ Mr. Sainsbury
An invitation to tender for the construction of SSBN07 was issued to VSEL on 15 March, and an order is expected to be placed within the next year. The order for SSBNO8 will follow at a later date.
