HC Deb 18 May 1988 vol 133 cc496-7W
Mr. Tony Lloyd

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what information he has for district health authorities in the north-western region about the number of(a) secretarial staff and (b) ancillary staff as a proportion of all employees.

Mr. Newton

Information held centrally is shown in the table. It is not possible to identify all staff undertaking secretarial duties, therefore "secretarial staff" has been interpreted as "administrative and clerical staff".
