§ Mr. WakehamThe vending machine in the Upper Waiting Hall is provided for the use of Members and 437W others attending Committees meeting on days when the House is sitting; as such it is not considered necessary for it to operate during recesses. The machine's supply mechanism is automatically cleansed with boiling water twice a day. If the hon. Lady has a particular complaint in mind, may I suggest that, in the first instance, she contacts the general manager of the Refreshment Department, who has direct responsibility for this machine.
