HL Deb 17 May 1988 vol 497 c315WA
Lord Kennet

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the Secretary of State for the Environment has decided that churches in the care of the Redundant Churches Fund are at greater risk of vandalism than others, and if so on what grounds.

The Earl of Caithness

Any building not in daily use may be at some risk of vandalism, irrespective of ownership. There is no evidence that vesting of a church in the Redundant Churches Fund increases or decreases that risk.
