Friend met all health authority chairmen in November 1987 and arrangments have been made for a further such meeting to be held in June this year. In addition, he also met the chairman of Gwent. Mid Glamorgan, West Glamorgan and East Dyfed on Friday last to discuss health issues relating to the south Wales valleys.
