§ Mr. CranTo ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what plans he has to assist the Royal National Institute for the Deaf, over and above sums guaranteed under the concerned technology scheme, with the funding needed to operate and develop the telephone exchange for the deaf on a long-term basis.
§ Mr. ButcherMy Department is contributing £70,000, over the two years starting 1 March 1988, towards the cost of the Royal National Institute for the Deals telephone exchange for the deaf. There are no plans at present to offer further funds.
