To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will give the sums paid for radio, newspaper and magazine advertising by Her Majesty's Government on the current campaign to increase United Kingdom awareness of the 1992 single European market.

The estimated costs of, radio and newspaper advertising in support of the first stages of the single European market publicity campaign are about £56,000 and £620,000 respectively. No paid advertising in magazines is involved.
