To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) how many meetings have been held to discuss procedures to be followed for registration for the community charge of Her Majesty's forces personnel based in Scotland on temporary postings;

A joint working group of the Scottish Examination Board and the Scottish Consultative Council on the Curriculum is currently developing proposals for short courses in health studies suitable for secondary pupils from age 14. Their report, which will shortly be circulated for consultation, includes proposals for a 40-hour short course on parenthood.
