To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what have been the Government's contributions to (i) Euratom, (ii) the Overseas Economic Co-operation and

My Department has not published projections of future energy consumption since 1982.

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what is the annual (i) petrol, (ii) diesel, (iii) gas and (iv) electrical consumption in million tonnes of coal equivalent for the transport sector for the period 1973 to 1988; and what are the projected consumption levels for the period 1989 to 2000.

Consumption of petrol and diesel in the transport sector for 1973 to 1987 was as follows:

Development Nuclear Energy Agency, (iii) the International Energy Agency and (iv) the International Atomic Energy Agency, since 1979.
