§ Mr. PortilloWe have introduced a programme of energy management, including "spend to save" initiatives, with the object of an overall reduction in energy consumption. No specific savings target has been set for 1988–89, but a target is being developed for future years. Lighting systems will not normally be replaced by more energy efficient equipment until the end of their useful life, but in particular circumstances replacement systems are considered.
