To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for the Western Isles on 22 April,Official Report, column 579, what was the appropriate action taken by the United States authorities in respect of the incident over Benbecula involving a United States Air Force F-111 on 12 September 1983.
