§ Mr. Kenneth Clarke[holding answer 3 May 1988]: Some of the proposals to amend investigation powers which were announced by my right hon. and noble Friend the Secretary of State on 11 May 1988 concern insider dealing. Apart from these proposals, we have no present plans to introduce further legislation to tackle insider dealing. We do, however, keep the present legislation under review.
