§ Mr. Gummer[holding answer 10 May 1988]: The Communiity financial contribution is to be in the form of reimbursement from the European agricultural guidance and guarantee fund of a proportion of the payment made to participating farmers. The relevant Community legislation sets the following rates of reimbursement:
50 per cent. for that portion of the payment which does not exceed 200 Ecu (£140) per hectare per annum;25 per cent. for that portion of the payment which is between 200 Ecu and 400 Ecu (£140—£280) per hectare per annum;290W15 per cent. for that portion of the payment which is between 400 and 600 (£280— £400) per hectare per annum.
