§ Mr. IngramTo ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will provide details of the vetting procedures applied to non-Civil Service staff employed by outside contractors who undertake security duties at research establishments of his Department.
§ Mr. ButcherNon-Civil Service security guards are employed at one research establishment of this Department. They are vetted as to suitability and reliability by their employer, to a standard acceptable to the Department.
