To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he proposes to introduce the commencement orders relating to those parts of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 so far unenacted.

My right hon. Friend intends to make the commencement order for the remaining provisions in the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 before the summer recess, after consultation with interested parties.
