§ Mr. HindTo ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will give details of the support that has been made available under the enterprise initiative to businesses in the north-west.
§ Mr. AtkinsA total of 2,319 specific inquiries for consultancy support under the Department's enterprise initiative have been received from businesses in the northwest up to 29 April 1988. At that date, these inquiries had resulted in 721 applications for consultancies being processed. A total of 389 business reviews have been completed, of which 322 have been forwarded to scheme contractors.
