HC Deb 11 May 1988 vol 133 cc127-8W
Mr. Chris Smith

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what revenue has been received by his Department since 11 November 1987 from the payment of fees for subject access to personal records, pursuant to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1984.

Mr. Mellor

We do not make a charge for subject access to present or former members of staff. As all the applications have fallen into this category, no revenue from the payment of fees has accrued.
