Mr. Chris Smith

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what revenue has been received by the Overseas Development Adminstration since 11 November 1987 from the payment of fees for subject access to personal records, pursuant to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1984.

None. Members of the Overseas Development Administration's staff, overseas pensioners and staff employed under the aid programme are not charged for reasonable access to their personal records.

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many applications under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1984 for subject access to personal records held by the Overseas Development Administration he has received since 11 November 1987.
