To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he has any plans to extend the mobility allowance to existing recipients reaching the age of 75 years.

Mr. Scott

The age 75 limit will not affect any existing recipients of mobility allowance until November 1989. We shall consider, nearer that time, whether it should be extended.
