To ask the Minister for the Arts whether he will provide additional resources for the Victoria and Albert museum national art library.

To ask the Minister for the Arts whether he will provide additional resources so that the British museum, the Victoria and Albert museum and the Tate gallery can respond to the report of the National Audit Office on English national museums.

The allocations to the Victoria and Albert and other national museums and galleries are decided in the light of information provided by the institutions. It is for the Victoria and Albert trustees to indicate the needs of the national art library and the priority they attach to them.
