§ Mr. Michael SpicerNo. As the discussion document "The Way Forward" explains, Nirex has identified a number of areas which might be suitable for a deep repository for low and intermediate level radioactive waste including the Fens area and the Wash. No decisions have yet been taken but Nirex hopes to make recommendations to Government by the end of the year.
