§ Mr. Alan ClarkThe Opportunity Japan campaign is being mounted by senior British business men with the support of the Department of Trade and Industry and the British Overseas Trade Board. It will aim to heighten United Kingdom companies' awareness of the increasing opportunities offered by the strategically important Japanese market and will stress the arguments for tackling it now with the appropriate long-term commitment.
This message will be elaborated by His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, vice chairman of the British Overseas Trade Board, Cabinet Ministers and business men experienced in Japan at briefing meetings for targeted company chief executives. These will be held in June and July at venues throughout the country.
