Whether they will work for the flexible application (without rigid percentages) of EC aid to Cyprus especially as regards the Nicosia master plan and infrastructure spending benefiting both parts of that city.
§ The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Lord Glenarthur)Under the terms of the current financial protocol, all European Community aid to Cyprus must benefit the island as a whole. Her Majesty's Government will continue to support the application of this principle in any proposed Community funding of the Nicosia master plan.
