§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe monitoring results for 1987 are set out in summary form in the table. Nineteen out of 23 waters monitored met the directive's standards. My Department expects to publish shortly a full report on the quality of the bathing waters during the 1986 and 1987 seasons, and I shall make a further statement at that time.
