How many of the schemes for profit-related pay approved by the Inland Revenue relate to firms engaged in retailing or wholesale distribution and how many workers are covered by such approvals.

At the end of March, the latest date for which figures are currently available, 107 schemes covering almost 4,000 employees had been registered for employers falling within the "Distribution, Hotels and Catering; Repairs" category derived from the Summary Trade Classification. I regret that further information analysing these figures is not available.
