To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has received from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament following the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Brussels summit.

Mr. Mellor

Four representations have been received from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament since the NATO summit. These have covered the following subjects:

  • The NATO Nuclear Planning Group meeting, 27–28 April;
  • The use of chemical weapons in the Gulf conflict (two representations);
  • The third United Nations special session on disarmament.
