§ Mr. GummerThe farm woodland scheme will be linked to the Forestry Commission's new woodland grant scheme. However, we have decided that farm woodland scheme planting will only attract increased planting grants for broadleaves. These will apply to both pure broadleaf planting and the broadleaf component of other woodlands and will increase the incentive to mixed and broadleaved planting under the scheme. The planting grants for conifers will remain unchanged.
