Mr. David Porter

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy (1) what information he has as to how many contracts for the building of Sizewell B have been awarded to date; what percentage of them have gone to East Anglian firms; and what is his estimate of the number of Suffolk residents being employed at Sizewell B;

(2) if he will make a statement on the progress of building work at Sizewell B;

(3) what is his assessment of the current and projected impact of the Sizewell B project on the labour market in (a) East Anglia and (b) Suffolk.
