To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he has any plans to privatise the catering services at Royal Air Force establishments in Scotland; and if he will make a statement.

Contract catering was introduced at RAF Turnhouse and RAF Pitreavie Castle in 1986; there are at present no plans to extend it to other RAF stations in Scotland.
