§ Mr. FreemanI refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave him on 7 March 1988 at column59, in which I gave the information which is available on numbers of Ministry of Defence personnel who have undertaken psychological operations training.
I would also refer the hon. Member to the reply given to a similar question on 27 October 1976, Official Report, column 263, covering the period 1973 to 1976. The original records upon which this answer was based, and records for the period 1976 to 1982, are no longer available and were destroyed in 1978 and 1982 as these were no longer required.
