§ 81. Mr. ChapmanTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on progress on agreements to exchange and report information among member countries of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
§ Mr. MellorThe information requested is not yet available, as the International Atomic Energy Agency has not completed drawing up a list of member states which have entered into such agreements. The United Kingdom has entered into such agreements with Norway and 273W Denmark and is currently discussing agreements with the Soviet Union, the Netherlands and the Irish Republic. The United Kingdom also has an agreement on similar lines with France, which was signed in 1983.
