HC Deb 25 March 1988 vol 130 cc252-3W
Mr. Kirkwood

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will set out the distribution of housing association grant by settlement size for the period from 1979 to 1988.

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

Housing association grant is a payment made in consequence of the approval of a project, under the approved development programme of the Housing Corporation in Scotland. The Secretary of State exercises control over the amount of public funding available to the housing association movement and the general categorisation of types of project through his approval of this annual programme.

No information is held by settlement size on the distribution of housing association grant or capital allocations to associations.
